unpolished thoughts 3/2/2019

I tried to write something meaningful today, and it didn’t seem to want to happen. So I started playing with the words, making sound patterns instead.

Sometimes that feels more meaningful to me.

The stomping stoplight is dangerously listening.

Stomping dangerously, sweetly stomping.

Goodbye stoplight, goodbye world.

The clomping shop’s slight anger is glistening.

Stomping dangerously, sweetly stomping.

The stoplight listens dangerously, tailgating,

The stoplight is listening. Songbird stoplight.

Imagine the songbird, asking a question.

Drop knife hanger, sizzling, jail bating.

The stoplight is listening. Songbird stoplight.

Dangerously listening, tailgating, jingling.

Dangerously tailgating, dangerously home.

Junkyard champion, junkyard jingling.

Splendorous whistling, snail making, tingling.

Dangerously tailgating, dangerously home.

Listening, tailgating, and jingling hallways.

Listening and jingling, sweetly listening.

Wondering sweetly, wondering why.

Thinking, trail breaking, and mingling always.

Listening and jingling, sweetly listening.
