There’s a moment before we speak when we can hear what we are about to say. If we make a practice of pausing long enough to listen there, we have the opportunity not to say what should remain unsaid.
Where do opportunities come from? Why do opportunities present themselves to us? What does it have to do with our own presence in the world? What causes us and these opportunities to meet?
When you have no idea what to do, it’s easy not to do anything. But sometimes when you have no idea what you’re doing, the doing gives you an idea. I go through this almost every day.
